Saudi Arabia's mining sector has become the fastest growing in the world, driven by Vision 2030, said Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

Saudi Arabia is working on offering new mining exploration opportunities across 5,000 square kilometers of promising mineral belts during this year, added Alkhorayef on the sidelines of the Future Minerals Forum.

The Exploration Enablement Program (EEP), which was launched last year, has begun to yield results, with six companies receiving the required financing.

Saudi Arabia's focus on developing regulatory frameworks, innovation, and infrastructure positioned the Kingdom as a top destination for investments and explorations in the mining sector.
