MEPCO parts ways with Acting CEO, Faisal Haddawi named CEO

Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) terminated its Acting CEO, Rob Jan Renders, who will remain on the company’s board as a non-executive member, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The company’s board of directors approved the appointment of Faisal Haddawi as the new CEO, effective Feb. 16.

 

Haddawi has over 15 years of experience in C-suite roles. Previously, he served as the CEO in the industrial sector, where he demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive growth, optimize operations, and deliver strategic transformation.

 

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Manchester Business School and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, the statement added.

 

In June 2024, MEPCO board approved the resignation of CEO Sami Al Safran, and appointed Rob Jan Renders as Acting CEO, according to data available with Argaam.
