Commerce Ministry reports 2,734 concealment violations in Q4 2024

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce referred 2,734 violations to the Anti-Concealment Law Committee in Q4 2024.

 

The three-month period also saw 1,668 reports of suspected breaches, according to the ministry’s Consumer Bulletin.

 

Total fines issued by the committee reached SAR 4.3 million.

 

Key violations included breaches of labor and residency regulations, lack of active operating licenses, absence of electronic payment systems, and tax violations.

 

Authorities seized 2.09 million counterfeit or fraudulent items as part of the commercial fraud crackdown.

 

A total of 420 cases were referred to the Public Prosecution.
