Saudia closed 2024 with solid growth on an international scale, carrying 20 million passengers on scheduled and additional flights, up 16% from 2023.

 

Transit passenger volume jumped 18% year-on-year (YoY) to over 9.3 million in 2024. Total passengers reached 35 million for the same year, marking a 15% annual increase.

 

The Saudi national carrier operated 193,000 scheduled and additional flights in 2024, a 10% YoY rise, as shown in the table below:

Saudia continues to connect the world to the Kingdom, supporting Vision 2030 goals in tourism, entertainment, sports, and religious travel.

 

It recorded over 581,000 flight hours last year, up 8.5% from 2023. Further, on-time departures improved to 89.1% in 2024, a 2.7% YoY increase.

 

Digital adoption also gained ground, with mobile app usage rising 40%, while transactions via the government digital wallet jumped 324%.

 

Saudia plans to expand its flights coverage, seat capacity, and destinations. Its 147-aircraft fleet will grow with 118 new Boeing and Airbus planes in the coming years.
