Faisal Alibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, said Saudi Arabia plans to host regular meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) starting spring 2026.

The $600 billion of investments and expanded trade with the US includes investments and procurement from both the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia, reflecting strong relations between the two countries, Alibrahim said during his participation at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Saudi Arabia and OPEC seek to stabilize the oil market in the long term, the minister said, noting the increasing demand for energy from the US and artificial intelligence.

Alibrahim stressed the need to ensure energy efficient supply.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently expressed desire to expand Saudi investment and trade relations with the US over the next four years, committing $600 billion, with the possibility of increasing this amount if more opportunities arise, according to available data with Argaam.
