Mazin Al-Kahmous, President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), said the rules for conducting financial settlements with individuals or entities involved in corruption crimes aim to recover embezzled funds and ensure justice in financial corruption cases.

In a Nazaha statement, Al-Kahmous said the government continues to adopt all necessary measures and mechanisms to promote integrity as well as recover embezzled funds and proceeds from corruption crimes.

He called for utilizing financial settlement rules as a form of consensual justice, emphasizing that no penal actions will be initiated against those who settle financial corruption cases prior to the issuance of a royal decree.
