US President Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump announced on Feb. 2 that European products would be soon his next tariffs target, after Canada, Mexico and China.
Trump said the European Union had taken advantage of the US, which was at a $300 billion deficit, and tariffs will "definitely" happen.
“They do not take our cars or our agricultural products, almost nothing, and we take everything, millions of cars, and agricultural products at huge rates,” he added.
“I won’t say there’s a timeline, but it’s going to happen pretty soon," he told reporters.
