Ash-Sharqiyah secures construction license for broiler chicken project

Ash-Sharqiyah Development Co. obtained a construction license for an agricultural project from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.

 

In a statement to Tadawul today, Feb. 3, the company said the project will focus on broiler chicken production using a floor-based rearing system, with an annual production capacity of 21.12 million chicks. It will include 64 poultry houses spanning a total production area of 120,000 square meters.

The company’s board of directors is working to complete the necessary procedures to initiate the project’s implementation.

 

This initiative aligns with the company’s strategic and operational plan to optimize land utilization in accordance with Saudi Arabia’s agricultural development strategy. It also supports Vision 2030 by advancing sustainable development and strengthening food security.
