Thob Al Aseel names Khaled Al Omar as Acting CEO

Thob Al Aseel Co.’s board of directors accepted on Feb. 4 the resignation of Acting CEO Abdulrahman Al Maleh, effective at the end of the working day on Feb. 6.

 

The company said in a statement to Tadawul that Al Maleh resigned after securing another professional opportunity.

 

 

The board appointed Khalid Al Omar as Acting CEO, effective Feb. 7, citing his strong leadership experience and key contributions to the company's achievements.

 

Al Omar has over 25 years of experience in management, operations, and sales. He held several leadership roles, most recently serving as CEO of Operations at Aljedaie Fabrics Co., a subsidiary of Thob Al Aseel. In this role, Al Omar played a key part in enhancing operations and supporting the company’s strategic growth. He is also recognized for his expertise in project management and achievement of strategic objectives.

 

According to data from Argaam, Thob Al Aseel’s board appointed Abdulrahman Al Maleh as Acting CEO, effective June 14, 2024, following the resignation of Ahmed Al Sultan for personal reasons.
