Loans to private, non-financial govt entities rise to SAR 3.05T in 2024

Saudi bank loans granted to non-financial government institutions and the private sector rose 15% to SAR 3.05 trillion in 2024, compared to nearly SAR 2.66 trillion in 2023, according to data issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

Private sector lending also increased by 13% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.85 trillion for the same year.
