Shalfa Facilities Management Co. signed, on Feb. 5, a contract with National Water Co. (NWC) worth SAR 7.1 million, excluding value-added tax (VAT).

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the 48-month contract includes the implementation of a project to supply and operate detection equipment on sewage lines using sound wave technology (SL-RAT).

The work scope includes the supply, operation, and maintenance of advanced equipment for assessing and inspecting blockages in sewer lines through acoustic wave technology.

In addition, the work encompasses the provision of software licenses throughout the project’s duration to ensure effective operation. A specialized operation and maintenance team will thoroughly inspect sewer networks, including manholes and pipelines.

The statement said the impact is expected to be positive on H1 2025 financials, adding that there are no related parties to the transaction.

According to data compiled by Argaam, Shalfa won a project worth SAR 7.1 million, excluding VAT, from NWC in December 2024.
