King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia issued a royal decree exempting government entities from the penalties and fines related to violations of the municipal licensing measures.
These entities are required to rectify the violations within one year from the date of the decision.
According to Umm Al-Qura newspaper, the decree grants the Minister of Municipalities and Housing the authority to extend the exemption period for an additional year.
