Index provider MSCI added Al Majed Oud Co. to the MSCI Saudi Arabia Small Cap Index during its periodic review.
It removed Advanced Petrochemical Co. and Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) from the MSCI Global Standard Index, adding them to the Small Cap Index.
Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu (MARAFIQ) was excluded from the MSCI Global Standard Index.
Accordingly, the total number of constituents on the Small Cap Index stood at 88 and the global standard index at 40.
MSCI will implement the changes by the close of trading on Feb. 27, as Feb. 28 will fall on a Friday.
