Batic unit inks SAR 96.2M deal with Ministry of Transport

Batic Investment and Logistics Co.’s subsidiary, Arabian Security & Safety Services Co., signed on Feb. 11 a contract with the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services for providing security services and patrols for the Haramain High-Speed Railway, at a total value of SAR 96.19 million (VAT inclusive).

 

 

The 36-month contract covers industrial security for the facilities and security patrols along the railway lines between Makkah and Madinah, via Jeddah and King Abdullah Economic City, Batic said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

This is in accordance with the approved work plan by Saudi Arabia Railways and the requirements of the High Commission For Industrial Security.

 

These services will be provided 24/7 for the entire duration of the contract at all specified locations. The scope also includes providing trained and qualified security guards, equipment and tools, the statement added.

 

Meanwhile, Batic noted that this contract is expected to have a positive impact on the financial statement starting from H1 2025.
