Saudi German Health gets license to increase Dammam Hospital’s capacity

Middle East Healthcare Co. (Saudi German Health) obtained the final approval from the Ministry of Health to expand the capacity of Saudi German Hospital in Dammam from 150 to 300 beds.

 

The expansion incurred no additional construction costs, as the hospital was previously built to standards that allow for such an expansion efficiently, the healthcare services provider said in a statement to Tadawul.

The move is expected to have a positive effect on the company's financial performance, resulting in increased revenues through the accommodation of a larger number of patients without additional construction costs.

 

Meanwhile, the new addition will create enhanced operational efficiency by making optimal use of the existing infrastructure, which will strengthen the hospital's value and competitiveness in the healthcare sector.

 

Additionally, the expansion will improve healthcare services and boost the hospital's ability to meet the growing demand, the statement added.
