Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. secured orders worth $389 million (approximately SAR 1.46 billion) to build power transmission lines in Saudi Arabia.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai received two separate contracts from Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) to construct 380-kilovolt transmission lines in Madinah and Jeddah, to be completed by November 2027.
The company also stated that it will install 491 kilometers of transmission lines connecting solar power plants in western Saudi Arabia to substations in Madinah and Jeddah.
