Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said agents of influence require agents of change, noting that the transformation led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, created a real and tangible impact for the Kingdom.

Speaking at the Saudi Media Forum, the minister explained that the concept of change-makers in Saudi Arabia evolved into a comprehensive vision, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

“Change-makers now have leadership that encourages transformation. Those making the change are also the ones who leverage it. Therefore, we must continuously remind ourselves that each and every one of us is a change maker,” the minister added.

Prince Abdulaziz also said understanding energy requires a broad, multidisciplinary perspective. He argued that energy cannot be comprehended through a narrow focus on prices and markets alone—instead, the sector is far more complex and interconnected.

He explained how energy security evolved beyond oil and petroleum exports from the Middle East. "Today, it encompasses natural resources and essential components for renewable energy, making participation in such discussions crucial due to the significant impact of Saudi Arabia’s message on the global energy landscape," he noted.
