How did top Saudi brokerages fare in February?

Al Rajhi Capital led the way among the brokerage firms operating in the Saudi market in February, accounting for 16.3%, or SAR 36.9 billion, of total trading value on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

 
SNB Capital took the second place, brokering up SAR 32.3 billion, or 14.2%, of the market transactions. Merrill Lynch Saudi Arabia came third, accounting for SAR 19 billion, or 8.4%, of total market transactions.

The combined trading value of brokerage firms fell by 39% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 226.25 billion.

On the Nomu-Parallel Market, Al Rajhi Capital came first among peers last month, brokering up to SAR 367.4 million worth of shares.
 
For the brokerages operating on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Albilad Capital came on top with transactions at a total of SAR 39.3 million.
 
The total number of brokerages operating in the ETFs market reached 21 in February.
  
On the other hand, Riyad Capital led the way among brokerages dealing in the Sukuk and Bonds market, brokering up SAR 3.2 billion worth of transactions.
