Cabinet OKs changes to Saudi Building Code Application Law

The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, approved amending the Saudi Building Code Application Law.

They also approved rebranding the National Committee of the Saudi Building Code to become the Saudi Center for Building Code, as well as its organizational structure, and approval - in principle - to establish the Saudi Building Code Academy.

On the other hand, the Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom’s continued support for the social services system and national initiatives aimed at providing the appropriate housing for eligible families following cooperation and integration between governmental, private and non-profit agencies to achieve the goals of the Jood Eskan campaign.
