Morgan Stanley KSA 'market maker' for 20 TASI, Nomu-listed firms

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) approved Morgan Stanley KSA’s request to conduct market-making activities on 20 companies listed on the Main Market (TASI) and the Nomu-Parallel Market, starting March 13.

 

These companies are East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry, Saudi Cable Co., Saudi Chemical Co., Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group, Saudi Ground Services Co. (SGS), MBC Group Co., Riyadh Cables Group Co., SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co., Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development Co., Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co., Gas Arabian Services Co. (GAS), Professional Medical Expertise Co. (ProMedEx), AME Company for Medical Supplies, Naba Alsaha Medical Services Co., Saudi Azm for Communication and Information Technology Co., Neft Alsharq Company for Chemical Industries, Mohammed Hadi Al Rasheed and Partners Co., Leaf Global Environmental Services Co., Saudi Networkers Services Co., and Al-Rashid Industrial Co.

 

Tadawul noted that Morgan Stanley KSA should adhere to the existing market-making rules and procedures.

 

For East Pipes, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 75,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Saudi Cable, market-making obligations include maintaining an 70% minimum order presence, a SAR 50,000 minimum order size, a 0.75% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Saudi Chemical, market-making obligations include maintaining an 70% minimum order presence, a SAR 75,000 minimum order size, a 0.75% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Sulaiman Al Habib, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 150,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For SGS, market-making obligations include maintaining an 70% minimum order presence, a SAR 150,000 minimum order size, a 0.75% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For MBC Group, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 75,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Riyadh Cables, market-making obligations include maintaining an 70% minimum order presence, a SAR 75,000 minimum order size, a 0.75% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For SAL, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 150,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Dar Al Arkan, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 150,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For Bupa Arabia, market-making obligations include maintaining an 80% minimum order presence, a SAR 75,000 minimum order size, a 0.65% price spread cap, and a 5% minimum value traded.

 

For GAS, ProMedEx, AME, Naba Alsaha, Saudi Azm, Neft Alsharq, Al Rasheed, Leaf Global, Saudi Networkers, and Al-Rashid Industrial, market-making obligations include maintaining an 50% minimum order presence, a SAR 50,000 minimum order size and a 5% price spread cap. A minimum traded threshold is not applicable.
