Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) said that all flights to and from London have been canceled until further notice due to the closure of Heathrow Airport on a power outage.
In a statement on Platform X, the airline added that it is closely monitoring the situation with Heathrow Airport officials while maintaining direct communication with passengers to provide updates.
Passengers currently in London were advised not to travel to Heathrow, while transit passengers were urged not to travel to Jeddah or Riyadh airports and to await further updates via text messages and email.
The airline also confirmed that due to this uncontrollable situation, all tickets will be exempt from restrictions or fees for rebooking or refunds.
According to Argaam data, Heathrow Airport officials announced its closure today, March 21, after a nearby fire wiped out its power supply.
