CHUBB Arabia appoints Kamran Mazhar as CEO

CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance Co.’s board of directors decided to end the mandate period of Abdulaziz Al Khereiji as Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 3. He will remain on the board as Managing Director.

The board appointed Kamran Mazhar as the new CEO, effective April 6, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul, adding that the appointment aligns with its strategic vision.

 

The decision followed a no-objection from the Insurance Authority.

 

CHUBB Arabia highlighted Mazhar's extensive experience in the insurance sector, noting his crucial role in driving growth and success for numerous insurance firms. He holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Texas.

 

Mazhar's career spans over two decades, including prominent leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer and CEO of CHUBB Arabia. His leadership and strategic insight are expected to be pivotal in the company's continued development and the achievement of its long-term objectives.

 

CHUBB Arabia appointed MD Al Khereiji as Acting CEO for six months, from Oct. 1, 2024, after accepting the resignation of Talal Omar Bahafi for personal reasons, Argaam earlier reported.
