CEOs of several cement companies reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a more efficient and competitive market.
The announcement came during a meeting between Fahad Alshathri, CEO of the General Authority for Competition (GAC), and a number of cement company executives, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
During the meeting, GAC discussed measures to enhance fair competition to boost market efficiency and corporate competitiveness, as well as serve consumer interests.
Alshathri emphasized the authority’s commitment to promoting compliance with regulations and competition policies to support the growth of various economic sectors and enhance their contribution to the gross domestic product (GDP).
