CEO of Zain expects less losses for Q2-2014

The CEO of Mobile Telecommunications Company “Zain”, Mr. Hassan Kabbany expects that the company’s losses will be reduced in Q2-2014, in line with the two previous quarters.
Mr. Hassan said that Zain is able to self finance recent agreements for developing its network and that the mega project granted the company better terms from suppliers; he said in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV.

The network expansion will increase its capacity and allows providing better services at lower costs, therefore; increasing the customer base and the company’s revenues.

According to Argaam’s data; Zain has lately signed new agreements with a number of companies to expand its network at a total cost of SAR 4.5bn.
