Eastern Province Cement inks deal to build new mill

Eastern Province Cement announces that it signed agreement today 16/2/2013 with a contractor to build a new 150-tonnes/hour cement mill with the cost of SAR 82 million for the supply of equipment and engineering works. That shall enable the company to use its maximum clinker production capacity and will reflect positively on the volume of sales. The financial effect of the project is expected as of the second quarter of 2014. The project shall be completed in 14 months and is financed by the company’s internal resources.
