Saudi Cement reopens Hofuf factory after refurbishment

In compliance with the directions of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah preserve him, to meet the rising cement demand, Saudi Cement Company hereby announces that the Board of Directors have resolved today Tuesday 23/4/2013 (13/6/1434) to rehabilitate and re-operate Kilns 4 & 5 in Hofuf factory with a total designed capacity of 3000 (Three Thousand) tons of clinker/day. Re-operation is expected to commence during Quarter 4 of the current year 2013. Future announcements of additional information about this project shall follow the signing of the contract with the executing contractor.
