Najran Cement starts test operation of new clinker unit

Najran Cement Company announced that all the units of its third 6500 tonnes/day clinker line have been tested successfully. The design capacity of the first and second lines is 6000 and 3000 tonnes/day respectively, which brings the company’s total capacity to over 17000 tonnes of cement/day with a milling capacity of 1000 tonnes of cement/ hour.

Trial run is to start within a week and expected to continue for 3 months.

This project was executed within 19 months, 4 months less than the contractual period.
