Saudi ministry to halt some services to the lower-green firms

Saudi trade ministry will halt some services offered to the firms in the lower green range (nitaq), including approvals of new visas, as of tomorrow to encourage them to hire more Saudis.
 

The ministry issued in August a set of regulatory rules on offering government services to firms in the lower green nitaq.


The nitaqat system classifies Corporate Saudi Arabia based on the ratio of Saudi employees to expatriates.
