SADARA and Solvay build the world’s largest Hydrogen peroxide facility in Jubail

Solvay, a Belgium based chemicals and plastic co., announced establishing the world largest Hydrogen Peroxide unit with SADARA chemical company in Jubail industrial city.

The unit’s capacity is 300,000 tons per annum and is expected to go on stream in 2015.

The project will supply SADARA with the feedstock necessary for the production of propylene oxide, which is used in turn in producing polyurethane plastics.
