Wafra to start commercial production of its dates plant in October

Wafra for Industry and Development will start commercial production at its date factory on Oct 20, 2014 and the financial impact will be reflected in the 4th quarter of this year, the company said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

 

The company decided last year to re-start operation of its date plant which has been out of service for 14 years, according to Argaam. The three-month experimental operations ended in March and the total cost of the renovation was SAR 355,000
