The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia’s (Bahri) took delivery on April 28 of a cargo vessel from South Korea with a size of 26,000 DWT, Bahri said in a statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.
The financial impact of the delivery will appear in the 2nd quarter of 2014, it said.
The ship, which was built by Hyundai Mipo shipyard, is the last of an SAR 1.5 billion - 6-vessel order that was contracted in 2011.
The National Shipping Co. is 28.1 percent owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
