SISCO’s affiliate wins Kayan service contract

Saudi Industrial Services Company (SISCO) announces that its 33.33%-owned Aljabr-Talke company signed three-year contract with SABIC’s Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company. Under the contract, Aljabr-Talke will provide Kayan with the services of chemical product warehouse management, packaging and transporting.

 

The contract value is SAR 22 million and was signed on January 1, 2012, and shall be effective as of mid-2012.The deal will have a positive effect on company’s results during contract duration.

 

This is first outsourcing contract by a SABIC-affiliated company on such treatment of chemical products. The services include management and operation of packaging terminals and the transport of tankers to shipping areas and storage to cater for demand outside of Saudi Arabia.
