Saudi Arabia’s ATM cards transactions increase 26 percent in September 2014

Saudi Arabia’s ATM, debit and credit cards transactions have increased 26 percent to SAR 14.58 billion in September 2014 from SAR 11.56 billion in the same month the previous year.

 

As many as 31.1 million transactions were carried out in about 128,000 points of sale including, shopping malls, retail stores and pharmacies.

Cash withdrawal in September increased 24% to SAR 64.0 billion compared to September the previous year. Consumers used over 15,000 banks and the Saudi Payment Network ATM machines.
