Al-Babtain signs power supply contract valued SAR 176 million

Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunications announced that it signed (on February 27, 2012) a contract for the supply and transmission of 380 KV power. The contract’s value is SAR 176 million and is signed with the National Contracting Company for the transmission of electricity from several regions of the Middle Region and the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, under the supervision of the Saudi Electricity Company.

The contract’s tenure is 15 months, and is auto-financed by the company.

The effect on Al-Babtain’s financial results shall be in 2012. The contract is expected to help achieve the company’s 2012 plans.
