Weqaya Takaful Insurance appointed on Thursday Salah Ben Abdelrahman Al-Heleysi as its new chief executive, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Weqaya had announced last May that the board of directors accepted the resignation of Ali Ben Saleh Al-Ghamdi from the position, according to data available on Argaam.
Hussein Ben Ali Al-Attal, managing director of the company, was assigned as de facto chief executive at the time.
Last June, the Capital Market Authority had decided to suspend Weqaya from trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Mr. Al-Heleysi resigned from his previous post as CEO of Sanad Insurance last August.
