Saudi Arabia's supreme legislative bodies said they plan to form a governmental committee to resolve a 10-year long dispute over the prices of jet fuel and crude oil between the country’s national air carrier, Saudi Electricity and Water Company, and Aramco.
The committee will include officials from the ministry of finance, ministry of petroleum and mineral resources, water and electricity, and members of the Public Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines, according to a report published by Al Watan newspaper.
Sources speaking to the newspaper emphasized the need for all relevant parties to compromise to resolve the issue, but didn’t specify a time frame for the formation of the committee.
