DUBAI (ICIS)--Dow Chemical is planning to build a world-scale coatings plant at the PlasChem park at Jubail, Saudi Arabia, which is located alongside its new joint venture Sadara complex, company CEO Andrew Liveris said on Monday.
Further details of the plant were not immediately available.
Sadara and Saudi Arabia's Royal Commission are also in active negotiations with nearly 20 more companies to build new projects at the PlasChem park, Liveris said at the 9th Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) Forum in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The GPCA forum runs on 23-25 November.
