Gasco Receives Amended Zakat Assessment

The National Gas and Industrialization Co. (Gasco) announced receiving the amended zakat assessment from Department of Zakat &Income Tax on 9/01/2014 for the year of 2005, 2006, 2007, at a value of SAR 38,851,175 million, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

The company added that the company's board decided to enhance claims quota for SAR 30 million, which will reflect negatively on the company's Q-4 2013 financial results, according to the statement.
