Saudi Arabia’s ATM cards transactions increase 10 percent in October 2014

Saudi Arabia’s ATM, debit and credit cards transactions have increased 10 percent to SAR 12.28 billion in October 2014 from SAR 11.16 billion in the same month the previous year.

                                         

As many as 29 million transactions were carried out in about 130,000 points of sale including, shopping malls, retail stores and pharmacies.

Cash withdrawal in October declined 1% to SAR 57.1 billion compared to October the previous year.

Consumers used over 15,000 banks and the Saudi Payment Network ATM machines.
