The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is planning to develop itself into becoming the employer of choice for the kingdom’s most talented leaders and job seekers, said Ziad Al-Shiha, chief executive.

The state-owned utility company seeks to increase its productivity, as well as attract better employees and stronger talent.

Al-Shiha said human talent is the "most valuable" investment that the company has.

He also discussed SEC's strategic transformation program, which is set to be implemented over a course of 10 years in order to achieve higher operational standards for the company.

In its final stages, the program aims to create a global services facility that produces 100 gigawatts of electricity, spread over 30 gigawatts globally and 70 locally.
