The listing and trading of VIVA Kuwait Telecommunication Company’s shares start trading today in Kuwait Stock Exchange as the first listing this year since the listing of Warba Bank in September, 2013.
The company is 26% owned by the Saudi telecommunication Company, STC.
With this listing the number of telecommunication companies in Kuwait exchange increase to four companies and the total number of listed companies increase to 194 excluding the parallel market’s companies.
According to Argaam; VIVA Kuwait sold 250m shares or 50% of its KWD 49.94m capital in an IPO in 2008.
