Saudi Zain appoints Abdelaziz al-Ruwais as independent board member

Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain) appointed today Abdulaziz Al Ruwais as independent board member pending approval of the general assembly, the company said in a  statement to the Saudi bourse, Tadawul.

 

Mr. Alruwais holds Ph.D. from Ohio State University, M.Sc. from University of Colorado and B.Sc. from King Saud University (KSU) in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications).

He has a long experience in fixed and mobile communication networks and services. Currently, he is a professor of telecommunications and the senior vice rector of KSU.
