Almarai is concerned with studying technical issues before placing a price cap on infant milk prices, said Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, chief executive of the company.
The costs of Almarai products in Saudi Arabia are lower than prices in other countries, he noted in an interview with Al Arabiya new channel.
By cooperating with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), the company can find a fair solution for both the consumer and theproducer when it comes to the prices of infant milk prices, he said.
The company's investments, which are estimated to be about $1 billion, will contribute to earnings growth, he added.
He pointed out that the company follows a certain strategy to adjust costs, while growing earnings gradually.
