Saudi Cable company opened on Tuesday Midal Cables Saudi Arabia LLC, an aluminum plant in the industrial zone of Dammam city with a production capacity of 20,000 tons per year.
The plant, which cost SAR 82 million, will manufacture aluminum connectors to cover the local market’s high demand, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The factory is owned by Midal Bahrain, in which Saudi Cable owns 50 percent.
The company said the plant’s financial impact will materialize during the second quarter of 2015.
