Mobily and Zain arrange for the arbitration procedures

Zain KSA and Mobily announced that the first session was held before the arbitration panel on Saturday 20/12/2014, during which it was agreed on the procedures that the arbitration panel shall follow in adjudicating the dispute, and in which Mobily submitted its statement of claim.

Zain KSA has requested time to respond to Mobily’s statement of claim. The session was adjourned to Saturday 07/02/2015.
 

According to Argaam; Mobily recently requested the referral to arbitration with regard to Mobily’s dues of SAR 2.2 billion resulted from the Service Agreement signed with Zain KSA in 2008.

Zain denied the amount confirming that the amount due is only SAR 13m.
