Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will not buy Airbus 380 aircrafts, said Prince Fahd bin Abdullah, chairman of the company's board.

Prince Fahd said that the large aircrafts are not suitable for the airline's "operational requirements."

According to Al-Riyadh newspaper, he pointed out that Saudia has completed the privatization of four of its companies.

"We are working towards completing the privatization process of the rest of the companies in order to convert Saudia into a holding company," he added.

Prince Fahd inaugurated on Monday the new Boeing 777-300 ER at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
