Zain Saudi Arabia, one of the kingdom's main telecom operators, said on Tuesday it has fixed damages that caused an abrupt disturbance to its services in some areas of the country on Monday.
The company said there had been a break in two fiber optic cables that link the cities’ networks.
According to data available on Argaam, the operator on Monday said that its network had suddenly dropped in some areas for reasons “out of its control.”
