Saudi Fransi Capital, the investment-banking arm of Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF), is planning to open a Dubai office to attract more foreign direct investments just before Saudi Arabia's bourse opens its doors to foreign investors this year, said Yasir Al Rumayyan, the company’s chief executive officer.

The Dubai office will likely focus on asset management and brokerage activities, he was quoted as saying in Bloomberg.

Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter and de-facto leader of OPEC, is planning to open its exchange, Tadawul, to foreign investors in April, according to reports. The move is expected to attract nearly $40 billion of foreign cash to
the kingdom’s $478 billion
bourse
.

Saudi's exchange is currently limited to domestic investors and those from the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
