Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining (Yasref) shipped its first clean diesel cargo weighing 300,000/bbl on Thursday.
The refinery, which has a 400,000/bbl capacity of heavy crude oil, started pilot operations last September, and had planned to start exports in November, according to the data available on Argaam.
Chinese Sinopec owns a 37.5 percent stake in Yasref, while Saudi Aramco owns the remaining 62.5 percent.
