An administrative court in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province turned down a petition submitted by Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Aramco) in its dispute with Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SARCO), according to SARCO’s legal advisor.
Aramco recently filed a petition to the administrative court in Dammam to suspend its decision forcing the company to pay a sum of money to SARCO, as it planned to present more information on the lawsuit, according to Argaam.
In November, the court upheld a decision issued by a court in Dammam in which Saudi Aramco was ordered to pay SAR 136.66 million, and another SAR 442,400 to SARCO.
